I believed there was nothing going on, but I also didn't like him that much...Explain that you had an amicable break up and are living together still temporarily for financial reasons. "I would say if it's not obvious there's a lack of chemistry between you and your ex, then (if I was your new bf) I would find it hard to trust the situation as well. I guess if he likes you enough, he'll get past the issue... and if you like him enough, you'll think about a new living situation. I mean, it's not like you have to move out tomorrow, but maybe if you're coming off as defensive, it seems a little more suspicious. You shouldn't be so "into" living with your ex if you're really ready to move on, so let it be open for discussion with your current and when that relationship moves forward, a change in living situation might seem natural."

"I mean, come on dude. If you have a new boyfriend, but you are still living with your ex boyfriend, don't you think that your new boyfriend would feel a little insecure about that situation. I definitely would feel a little uncomfortable with the fact that my new boyfriend was living with his ex girlfriend. With you not being on the receiving end, you don't understand what your new boyfriend is going through. If it was reverse, you probably would be uncomfortable with your new boyfriend staying with his ex. You may not have thing for your ex, but if you care for your new boyfriend, you may need to move out and stay with him."
