" for one, wow.. i can't believe some of the responses you have been getting, and I'm very sorry for them. I can understand your problem very well.. In fact so well that I have actually grown up in a home much like yours. Sadly i am a child of the Electronic era, growing up it seemed the only way i could reach my family members was threw text messages, AOL, or even.. and if you can believe it, intercoms placed in each room of the house. But what was probably the saddest thing of it all, is that most of the homes we lived in were 1 story homes! each of us could not of been more then 20 feet away every day and still if you tried to have eye contact it was as though you were a freak of nature. Do not let this type of emotionless contact become the only source of communication between you and your girlfriend, its a very dangerous road to live down.. Set rules, turn it off, sit her down and talk.. make her look you in the eye and see you, not the phone.. if she continues down this road, you will be saying your good nights threw text messages.. Its not fun. "
